About this natural fibre plant dye table runner:
The ancient process of dying with plant materials on natural fibres - an art form almost lost in the shadows of time, now being revived by artisans sparking life in the wisdom of the past. This is hand twisted and hand woven cotton.

This gorgeous natural fibre tea runner is un-dyed and can be used as an under layer to other woven chabu's or alone. It is natural fibre homespun cotton, so can also be further dyed.

NATURAL FIBRE PRODUCTION 
The cloth is pure natural fibre cotton, grown on ever decreasing land. This artisan technique of hand spinning and weaving of cloth is done entirely by the human hand. You can see the variation in texture and weave, which is the beauty of artisan products.
