Ume feels in the midst of a transformation also, it is not a brand that sits in a bored room and discusses analytics for the next seasons. Rather it unfurls like the petals of a rose - and stays tightly curled for as long as it takes, whilst the flower receives the nourishment it needs to bloom.
The petals have been quietly forming over the last years, yet the whole has been in need of respite from all the wash of energy. The influx of information and the static created has seen me, as the director of Ume, become more earthy and slow. There is no forcing a rose to bloom, one just has to keep watering the plant and tending to its needs. Yet I already feel this new energy of the fire horse, has allowed some long-term projects-in-the-making to start to unfurl.
Looking forward to how this energy will develop. The fire element, as we know, is yang energy. Burning up everything dry in its path. This can be both destructive, yet in order to move forward, beneficial for clear evolution ... however the speed can be fast. Earth is nourished by fire - I am an Earth Horse. When I was a child growing up in the countryside, at the end of each harvest the farmers would burn the fields, as it cleansed the soil by removing pests, residues and weeds. Thus preparing the ground for fresh seeds next season.
For you, it might be a year you fan the flames of this energetic fire horse, or stay more retreated in diffusive watery realms. I will be exploring balancing energies to this potent energy throughout the year, so we can find calming, flowing, harnessing ways to stay centred in this process.
