Been engaging in really wonderful space clearing this weekend. Palo Santo is such a healing scent to uplift the energy in a space. If you want to know how to Cleanse the Energy in the Home read on ... .

Here are a few tips on smudging that I use in my own practice: .
1 To begin smudging, light your palo santo stick or a bundle of smudging herbs like sage, by gently lighting it up and wafting out the flame after a few seconds - don’t blow! You can also do this with a natural Palo Santo Atmosphere Mist if you don't or can't light a stick - like in a hotel room or at work for example. .
2 When the stick is nicely smoking direct this cleansing smoke with a feather or fan around the body. Starting at the head work your way down to the feet, lift up the soles of each foot and then track the smoke back up the body again. End at the crown of the head gracefully swirling the smoke back up to the sky. You can also read my post on How to use Palo Santo Sticks. .
3 To cleanse your space with smudging it's a similar method. Walk around every part of your space with the intension to purify the energies. Go under tables, beds, in dark corners and especially around electrical items and sockets. You may even like to first walk around the space with a drum and then a delicate chime before smudging. Sound vibration is also a powerful tool to reset any stuck energy formations. .

Inspired to go Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) - a healing tool from Japan where you take in the atmosphere of the forest as a soothing, nourishing therapy.
Here are 5 steps to Forest Bathing from @growwilduk :
Step 1 – leave behind your phone, camera or any other distractions, so that you can be fully present in the experience.
Step 2 – Leave behind your goals and expectations. Wander aimlessly, allowing your body to take you wherever it wants.
Step 3 – Pause from time to time, to look more closely at a leaf or notice the sensation of the path beneath your feet.
Step 4 – Find a comfy spot to take a seat and listen to the sounds around you. See how the behaviour of the birds and other animals changes when they become used to your presence. .

ONE WITH NATURE ...
... ... All of our ingredients accord with the natural world ... we don’t use essential oils to fragrance our incense sticks ... and certainly no chemicals, perfumes or synthetics ... our fragrances are from pure aromatic plants blended using an ancient method of grinding these healing, magical and wonderfully fragranced herbs, plants, seeds and resins. The powder is mixed with water to create a paste before being extruded by hand through small machines. The final sticks are cut to length (which also corresponds with the burning time) and left to dry for about 3 weeks. .

When I met Mooji last year he answered a question from a man who was uncomfortable at people touching Mooji’s feet. He thought it showed Mooji to be pompous to allow himself to be seen as a ‘saint’ or some such ... it didn’t feel right that he would allow it. Mooji responded by asking the man, had he ever touched the feet of his parents, Or teachers. Have you ever bowed down to them in respect for what they have taught you ? If not then try it....See if you can do this act of gratefulness and honour. It’s a beautiful act ... today I’m honouring my teachers in life; family, friends, situations, all opportunities to grow, learn, expand ... Praṇāma (Sanskrit, "obeisance, bowing down") is a form of respectful salutation or bowing before something, or another person - usually grandparents, parents, elders or teachers or someone deeply respected such as a deity. .

This weekend I’ve been contemplating emotional triggers, those pesky little words or actions by another (blame blame blame) that can drive an otherwise spiritually focused, peaceful mind (ha) into a state of oblivion.
After the trigger gets pulled time and time again by the perhaps unassuming attacker; toxic thoughts and behaviours flood the rational brain. a seemingly irrational explosion could take place in your body as the demons take control ... then in the wreckage of emotional displays you come to your senses ...😦 if this type of thing is bothering you, as it has been me since forever, it seems time to wake up and take a closer look at these phantom bullets that cause so much pain... Why do we get triggered?
Past experiences in early life, haunting memories, traumas, losses, unlocked dark places in the mind ... what ever it could be, however trivial or huge, it’s time to recognise them 🖖🏻 and shine a rainbow of coloured light on to them ... and stop giving away your power to their control.
Understanding what triggers you is so so powerful; it means the first step to being able to manage additions to pain & toxic behaviours ... in short facing your triggers one by one head on, is to consciously bring into awareness your unresolved issues so they are not on an endless, disruptive cinematic loop ... and next time the trigger gets pulled - if you can associate where the sting is coming from (memory/past hurts) - it dissolves the once presumed ‘bullet’ right in front of your minds eye. Meaning what is said or done by the other begins to have no association with you at all anymore. Also importantly you stop hurting others and yourself (twice as hard). The willingness to acknowledge these triggers and the honesty & ownership of your behaviour that follows, will begin to rapidly heal them - so that next time the trigger is pulled it no longer has the same effect, you can hear only words with a clear mind ... This means you are taking back control of your emotions, you are beginning to master them, instead of giving or leaking your power away.
So what are your triggers? ... .
